Wow, it's so nice to see that other people out there who like to read! and better yet, *talk* about the reading! sometimes i feel like a downright "weirdo" for being a bibliophile. sorry, haven't read your other posts, but could i suggest, if you haven't already read them,
1. Confessions of a Mask, Yukio Mishima
2. The Color of Water, James McBride
3. The Poisonwood Bible, Barbara Kingsolver
4. The Stones Cry Out, Molyda Szymusiak
5. Girl with a Pearl Earring, Tracy Chevalier

Don't know if they're according to your taste, (i myself have very eclectic taste) but these are really amazing books! Happy reading!
